On supported browsers, these shortcuts can be used to access content from the keyboard. How you use the access keys depends on the operating system you are using. If you have a PC and are using Microsoft Windows, you have to depress the "ALT" key while pressing the access key. If you are using an Apple Macintosh, then you have to depress the "CTRL" key.
For example in Internet Explorer on PC press 'ALT' & '1' followed by the 'ENTER' or 'RETURN' key to go to the home page, or on Apple Macintosh press 'CTRL' & '6' for help.
